Golf course
– The Evian Masters Golf Course is a local beauty. Host of
one of the largest tournament on the Ladies European Tour,
it is a technical parkland course with beautiful views of
the lake – in particular the par-3 15th. Do not
underestimate the “ lake-break”: most greens slope to the
lake. There are various other courses around the lake in
Geneva, Montreux, Lausanne and Divonne offering variety and
quality (Evian and various other courses in the area are
included in Peugeot’s top 1000 courses in Europe).

Swimming
– There are various free beaches (grass or stones) and a big
swimming pool.

|
Walking
– Leaving the chalet you can walk up the mountain and
connect to the GR5 or go for a short walk in the Parc de
Neuvecelle.

|
Shopping/health
resort – At
a 10 minutes walk is the highest stop of the “funiculaire”,
a rack-railway, to bring you free in the centre of Evian in
summertime, to save you looking for a parking lot (out of
the summer season this is no problem).

Skiing (or walking
in summer)
– At a 20 minutes drive you find
Thollon,
with a ski-lift to 1655m (nice views to the lake) or in the
other direction you find
Bernex,
also with an ski-lift and in summer a small lake for
swimming “Plage de Beunaz”.
